Serengeti Wildlife Safari
The Serengeti is dream Africa, where thousands of wild animals roam free as far as the eye can see. This awesome wildlife spectacle is at its most magical when experienced in splendid private gamelands far from the crowded lodge circuit.

ASIA

Undiscovered Mergui
We venture to islands that have yet to be explored as we snorkel, travel by sea kayak, and follow game trails through the untouched rainforest haunts of monkeys and jungle cats. Night snorkeling, dive opportunities, and encounters with moken (sea gypsies) are all part of this incredible Andaman Sea adventure.

Indochine Photo Tour
In January 2005, Wilderness Travel offered a photo tour with Brian McGilloway to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. These photos were shot in 1995 by Brian as part of a documentary on Vietnam.

Gokyo Ri
Gokyo Ri is a one of the most spectacular vantage points in the Himalaya. Check out the highest mountains on earth, including the South Face of Mt Everest, in this 360 degree photo tour.

EUROPE

The Turquoise Coast
We sail along the exquisite Turquoise Coast by private gulet (sailing yacht), heading ashore for hikes, visiting archaeological sites, lunching with a farm family in a beautiful pastoral valley, soaking in thermal mud baths, and witnessing life in coastal villages. Our pace is a relaxed one, with time each day for swimming, snorkeling, and pampering by our chefs, who serve mouth-watering feasts al fresco on deck.

Great Alpine Traverse
We hike across five international borders, crossing from France to Italy to Switzerland to Germany to Austria. Our discoveries of hidden valleys, storybook villages, and sapphire mountain lakes are a delight, as is the tremendous variation in Europe's mountain cultures and regional cuisines.

The Pilgrim's Way
Our walking journey covers the most beautiful section of El Camino de Santiago on peaceful mountain paths and country lanes marked with the scallop shell, symbol of St. James. As we walk these thousand-year-old trails, where 20th century intrusions are few, we relish Romanesque settings redolent with the air of pilgrimage, from medieval Burgos to the intriguing Celtic villages of Galicia.

Italy: the Via Ferrata Independent Journey
Experience the thrill of the "Via Ferrata", a truly unique adventure amidst the dramatic spires of Italy's stunning Dolomites.

LATIN AMERICA

Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
Absolutely spectacular campsites, haunting Inca fortresses tucked among the rugged crags of the Cordillera Vilcabamba, the beauty of walking in a cloud forest of bamboo and orchids, and the mysterious dancing clouds that shroud then reveal the steep green mountains can only begin to describe our incredible trek to Machu Picchu along the famed Inca Trail.

Machu Picchu
Ever dreamt of visiting mysterious Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas? Take a virtual tour of this ancient and beautiful site.

NORTH AMERICA

Hidden Glacier Bay
Glacier Bay's wildlife spectacles are as glorious as the scenery, with Steller sea lions congregated on rocky islands, Dall's porpoises feeding along the shores, bald eagles peering down from giant cedar snags at water's edge, and humpback whales and orcas gliding in the turquoise waters.

Circling the Bering Sea
In 2002, 100 clients circum-navigated the Bering Sea, including 35 who joined Galen Rowell and Frans Lanting in a photo workshop. Dedicated to the memory of Galen & Barbara Rowell.

PACIFIC

Palau Sea Kayaking & Snorkeling
Enjoy incredible snorkeling in an underwater Serengeti of hidden lakes, coral gardens, marine tunnels, fields of giant clams, and thousand-foot-high walls. Paddle silently among rainforested islands and sleep under the stars at our fantastic safari-style camp amenities.

New Zealand: South Island Adventure
Nature-blessed New Zealand is paradise for outdoor adventure. On the glorious South Island, swim with dusky dolphins, walk the luxuriant coastal rainforests of Abel Tasman National Park, hike the icefields of the mighty Fox Glacier, and sea kayak in Milford Sound, one of the world’s most spectacular meetings of mountains and sea. Our grand finale is a three-day hike across the Routeburn Track, a glorious wilderness in Fiordland's Humboldt Mountains, with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks all the way to the Tasman Sea.
