Machu Picchu, Peru

Most of our trips to Peru feature two days to explore magical Machu Picchu. We normally stay at the Machu Picchu Ruinas Hotel, immediately adjacent to the ruins, and have plenty of time to explore when few other visitors are there.

The Intihuatana Stone, "the hitching post of the sun," was the major shrine at Machu Picchu. Some of the finest stonework at Machu Picchu is seen in the Temple of the Sun. It was apparently used to track certain astronomical features of the sky.

To scroll in a 360-degree circle, hold down the mouse while cursor is over the Movie, and drag to the left or right. As your cursor passes over a "hot spot," the cursor changes to a finger touching a small world and a message below anounces what Movie you view if you click on that point. In this way you can navigate through the corridors of our office or to points throughout the world which appear in the windows.
