Thamo Telele

The newly refurbished Thalo Telele (named after the youngest resident giraffe) is set on a game farm outside Maun, and features seven spacious, tastefully furnished tents on raised decks, complete with en suite facilities—a stylish bath and open-air shower. The lodge's main thatched complex, opening onto a large tree-shaded deck, features a bar, lounge, dining room, and a small swimming pool. Several self-guided walking trails offer a chance to stretch your legs after a long flight (the farm is fenced off, so there are no predators in this private reserve), or just relax on the deck with your first Botswana beer and watch the birds frolic in the trees.
