Halil Uysal

As the son of an officer in the Turkish army, Halil developed his love of travel while living and studying in many Turkish cities as he grew up. Upon completing his training as a tourist guide, he began leading and advising journalists on their travels in Turkey, and in 2016, started his academic journey as a lecturer at Cappadocia University, specializing in Turkish history, arts, cultures, and civilization. He has also spent time in Finland, doing research and attending a foreign language program, and in Brazil, where he had the chance to learn the language and get to know the country well. When not lecturing or leading trips, Halil loves to ski and swim, and was an amateur football and volleyball player. He is married and the father of twins.
