The Painswick Hotel

The boutique Painswick Hotel has panoramic views over the lovely Painswick Valley from its perch above town. The house dates from the 18th century, became a hotel in the 1950s, and since 2015 has been part of the Calcot Collection of luxury hotels. The 16 guest rooms are individually designed and warmly inviting, and the restaurant offers a blend of traditional and unconventional in a kitchen overseen by Michelin-starred chef Michael Bedford.
