La Casona de la Ronda

Set in the heart of Quito's historic district, this renovated 22-room boutique hotel retains much of the character of the original Spanish colonial mansion built in 1738. Guest rooms overlook either the lively (and picturesque) pedestrianized street or the quiet interior patio courtyard and feature hand-carved furniture and polished wood floors. Although they offer an authentic ambiance of old Quito, the rooms feature all the modern conveniences.
