Wilderness Explorer

The 74-guest Wilderness Explorer is the ideal ship for exploring the Inside Passage in comfort and style, and we love the top-notch service provided by her guest-to-crew ratio of 3:1. Refurbished in 2012, this 186-foot vessel is fully equipped for adventure, with three accessible decks. Along with an on-deck hot tub, the Lounge Deck allows for over-the-top viewing from the bow, while the Sun Deck offers fitness equipment. The EZ Dock launch platform on the Main Deck makes getting in the water a cinch and is an easy staging area for on-board kayaks, inflatable skiffs, and paddleboards. The Wilderness Explorer has a variety of public and private spaces, including a welcoming main lounge with a nautical theme. Common to all 37 double cabins are memory foam mattresses, flat-screen TVs, binoculars, and reusable water bottles. All staterooms come with a view window (not portholes). The ship carries inflatable skiffs, kayaks, paddleboards, hiking poles, fitness equipment, and yoga mats.
