Itinerary at a Glance
Days 1-2
Las Vegas / Grand Canyon Scenic Overflight / Colorado River Rafting
(Arrive in Las Vegas on your own the night before the trip starts.) Board a scenic one-hour flight early this morning for a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the Grand Canyon. Landing on the South Rim, you’ll be met by your private guide for an afternoon hike on along the rim or into the canyon itself. The next day, raft the epic Colorado River, a “must-do” in this part of Arizona, with a half-day float past the soaring cliffs of Horseshoe Bend and to Petroglyph Beach, a fascinating archeological site. Additional options include a hike into the swirling sandstone realm of Antelope Canyon, one of the most photogenic slot canyons in the world, or kayaking below the rock cliffs of Lake Powell. If you wish, you can add on a private sightseeing flight to the South Rim and a private boat and captain on the Lake Powell (duration up to six hours).
Day 3
Bryce Canyon National Park
Head to Bryce Canyon National Park for a fantastic hike through its unique amphitheaters and labyrinths, among mysterious hoodoos (rock columns), and along stone canyons.
Days 4-6
Zion National Park / The Narrows / Depart
Utah brims with natural wonders, and Zion is at the top of the list. Sometimes called “a Yosemite dressed in red,” Zion Canyon is a spectacular gorge flanked by towering red and tan Navajo sandstone palisades. One of your options is a beautiful hike on a trail through the twisting red rock gorge of Echo Canyon right down to the floor of Zion, with panoramic views all the way. The next day, hike The Narrows, where Zion Canyon tapers to just 20 to 30 feet wide between thousand-foot-high walls. There is no trail on this “bucket list” adventure—just the shallow waters of the winding Virgin River (all special equipment, including footwear, is provided). Prepare to be wowed by Mother Nature in this legendary canyon. Depart on Day 6 via Las Vegas.
