The food was absolutely outstanding—it was like dining every day in a three star restaurant. Captain Bill is an wonderful guy with great stories. He was able to navigate the many icebergs and got our small vessel right to the head of the Dawson Glacier!

This trip really exceeded my expectations. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and we were able to see so much of it and all the amazing wildlife, plant life, and landscapes. A full itinerary without feeling overwhelming.

The inclusion of the Blackfoot Powwow, the museum visit, the rodeo, and the Blackfoot ranger program presentation made this so much more than a hiking trip!

This is an amazing tour and experience of Baja and the Sea of Cortez. We had more than one unique experience daily and guides enlightening us about what we were seeing and experiencing.

This is the only way to really experience Alaska and meet its people. The food was incredible, the boat a classic, and our naturalist was wonderfully knowledgeable, whether we were kayaking, hiking, or whale watching! It was a magical and soulful way to see the Inside Passage just as John Muir saw it.

This was the magical trip of a lifetime. We sailed on incredible blue-green water, hiked in forests of cactus, and touched sweet, young whales. I will never be the same.

This was a magical trip with wonderful leaders and terrific fellow shipmates. i loved learning and seeing so much in this part of Baja. The whole experience has made me ever more mindful to look and listen carefully for all the sights and sounds of the sea, the land, the sky, and even under the sea.

Our guide was great, hotels were local in feel but also elegant and comfortable, logistics were amazingly smooth, variety of scenery and breadth of feel for the country was wonderful—mountains, tropics, forest walks, jungle river trips, city tour. It was a total package!

All-in-all, the trip was amazing—the trip of a lifetime. The crew did a wonderful job and the kayaking and hiking was great (although I could have done more, but do realize that sometimes the boat just has to travel!). And we were really fortunate to have a great group of guests that all got along.

This was a fabulous way to travel the Alaskan Inside Passage, a wonderland of beauty and inspiring vistas. The crew really made the trip memorable and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. We saw so much wildlife everywhere we turned and spent one serene day kayaking with humpback whales that was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It just could not have been better.

This was such a wonderful trip. We saw an almost unbelievable variety of wildlife. Our leader was terrific – extraordinary knowledge of the plants and animals of Costa Rica. Education, fun, adventure, and exercise equals a great vacation.
